During my engineering college days (1994 - 1998), me and my hostel mates were addicts of computer games. Some games running on DOS were hugely popular among us and we used to spend countless days and nights playing them competing with each other in advancing levels after levels. These are the list of some of those games and their executables. Note that you can enable 16 bit support on Windows 32 bit versions but on 64 bit versions, you will need a DOS emulator like DOS Box or vDOS to run these games.
Paranoid (39 KB): The famous ball bouncing game that was originally developed for DOS. Here you can download the evaluation copy that works under all versions of Windows prior to Vista. Plus there is an additional set of 30 levels for unlimited brick breaking fun!
Prince of Persia (345 KB)): The ever thrilling Prince of Persia game. Was fun during those old days!
Pac Man (23 KB)): That round face running through the maze chopping everything and making an annoying sound!
Dangerous Dave (73 KB): One of the first computer games I played.
Bricks 2000 (283 KB): A light version of brick game. It's cool!
Mines Perfect (1 MB): A better version of mine sweeper game.
Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines is a Windows XP/98/95 strategy game, released in 1998. I have spent continous night overs playing this game with friends during those old days.
