Introduction

Canary is a flexible key trapping software that captures all the keystrokes with the window titles of the applications where the key storkes were made. There are options to send the key stroke log by email or to transfer it to another machine on the network. It disguises like a system process and can run under cover.

Rename the exe to something like greetings.exe and send to the person you want to spy on. If he is stupid enough to run the exe without any virus checks or doubts, this application will run and stay in memory without any visible screens. It will make a copy of itself in the "WinDir"\system folder with a name taskmngr.exe (remember the original task manager process is taskmgr.exe,ie without the n). It will also log all the keystrokes and keep the file in this folder with an extension .dll. Then you can set a limit for the log file size, and when that limit is reached, the log can be copied to another network folder or sent to an email. It will also make a registry entry, so that the application runs from its new hiding folder every time the system is started. At any time press Shift+ F12 to make the window of Canary visible.

All these settings like process name, hiding directory, log file, etc can be and should be changed by editing the source code, before making use of this application.

And remember... THIS PROGRAM SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR ANY ILLEGAL PURPOSES.
