Creating my website was a gradual process that took place over many years. It all began in the year 2000 when I created a simple single-pager on geocities.com/sameerct , featuring a brief bio and my photo. I continued to add more content as I found free time, and the website slowly evolved over time with new looks and templates. Later, I moved the hosting to wayfarer.bizhat.com, using a free hosting provider. In the beginning, the website was purely hand-written using HTML and CSS technologies, and I used text editors like Notepad to make changes. Later, I developed a tool in WPF that generates the site from data stored in an SQL Server database using T4 Code Generation. Currently, I use CoolStatGen, a Windows Desktop Application I developed using .NET, to generate the website from Markdown text files, combined with a website template. The website is now hosted freely at coolwayfarer.web.app, using Google's Firebase platform. You can view screenshots of the home pages of all versions of my website on this page.
